The triggering of this announcement came as 85% of the Australian adult population have been fully vaccinated.
Vaccinated travellers from Japan and Korea will also be allowed to come into Australia quarantine-free through State programs. This is in addition to the current travel arrangements with Singapore.
Fully vaccinated in this context means TGA approved or recognised vaccines at the current dosage levels (which vary between vaccines).
The announcement is much welcomed by education providers, businesses and industries across Australia.
